NocPix ACE 2 S60R Thermal Imaging Scope with LRF

The ACE 2 S60R is the model to choose if maximum thermal image quality is your priority. Its 1280 × 1024 detector contains four times as many pixels as a 640 × 512 sensor, allowing substantially more thermal detail to be captured and retained as magnification increases.

Its 2× base magnification and exceptionally wide 25.6 × 20.5m field of view at 100 metres also mean the S60R is not limited to long-range work. It can scan broad areas effectively before using its high-resolution sensor and magnification to examine targets in much greater detail.

If you do not require the flagship 1280-resolution detector, the ACE 2 H50R offers excellent longer-range capability from its 640 × 512 sensor and 50mm F0.9 lens, while the ACE 2 H35R is the wider-field 640 option for closer and mixed-range use.

S60R: flagship 1280 × 1024 model offering the highest thermal resolution and widest field of view in the ACE 2 range.

The defining feature of the ACE 2 S60R is its 1280 × 1024, 12μm thermal detector. With four times the pixel count of a 640 × 512 detector, it captures substantially more image information and allows fine thermal details to remain visible as magnification increases.

Its ≤12mK NETD sensitivity allows the sensor to distinguish extremely small differences in temperature, helping reveal more detail when thermal contrast between the target and background is limited.

Ocular Zoom 2.0 combines optical and digital magnification to provide a more natural zooming experience while maintaining reticle accuracy throughout the magnification range.

ACE 2 provides a generous 60mm eye relief and 10mm exit pupil, giving the shooter a comfortable and immersive sight picture. Hybrid Zoom can also be disabled through the Custom menu if digital zoom alone is preferred.

The high-resolution sensor works alongside NocPix's upgraded R+ 2.0 imaging algorithm to improve thermal detail, image cleanliness and target definition.

Dual Clarity provides two dedicated viewing modes:

• Motion Mode – prioritises smooth rendering when scanning or tracking moving animals.
• Still Mode – enhances fine detail when examining stationary targets and identifying species.

The ACE 2 S60R incorporates NocPix's Integrated LRF 2.0 with laser ranging out to 1,200 metres. The rangefinder uses true optical-axis alignment and provides measured distance directly through the riflescope.

Ballistic Calculation 2.0 works alongside the LRF and can account for factors including measured distance, angle, wind drift and environmental conditions to calculate an appropriate aiming solution.

The ACE 2 uses a centrally positioned focus control that can be operated while remaining behind the scope, making it easier to refine image focus as target distance changes without reaching forwards towards the objective lens.

The ACE 2 S60R uses a dual-battery system consisting of a built-in 4000mAh battery together with a replaceable 18650 battery.

NocPix states that the ACE 2 battery platform can provide up to 8 hours of operating time, around 14% longer than the previous generation, with improved performance in freezing conditions.

The removable 18650 uses a reverse-polarity design, allowing it to be inserted either way around. This makes changing batteries significantly easier in darkness.

Actual operating time will vary depending on temperature, display settings, recording, Wi-Fi use and other active functions.

The NocPix ACE 2 S60R uses a conventional 30mm scope tube, allowing it to be fitted using suitable 30mm scope rings.

Suitable mounts can be selected for Weaver/Picatinny rails or 9–11mm dovetail rails depending on the rifle and required mounting height.

NocPix rates the ACE 2 platform for recoil energy of up to 7,000 joules and confirms that it can also be used on suitable air rifles.

ACE 2 uses a high-strength magnesium alloy body to reduce weight while retaining the durability required for demanding field use.

NocPix states that the new ACE 2 platform is approximately 25% lighter than the previous generation and weighs under 1kg. The S60R is also IP67 rated for protection against dust and water.

ACE 2 features upgraded 5G Wi-Fi connectivity and one-tap app connection, with transfer speeds of up to 20MB/s for faster video downloads, firmware updates and content sharing.

Photo and video recording are built into the S60R, together with an integrated microphone and 64GB of internal storage for captured footage.
