Best for Walking
Parcours 2 is one of our strongest Wellington boot choices for customers who cover plenty of ground. Its tri-density anti-fatigue sole combines cushioning, stability and grip to provide greater comfort on longer walks.
Best for Adjustable Calf Fit
Parcours 2 Vario adds an adjustable calf gusset to the walking-focused Parcours design. It is ideal if you want additional room around the calf or greater flexibility when wearing different trousers and clothing.
Best for Cold Weather
Parcours 2 ISO combines the Parcours anti-fatigue sole with an insulating neoprene lining. It is ideal for winter dog walking, shooting, farming and spending extended periods outside in colder conditions.
Best for Easy On & Off
Parcours 2 ISO Open combines neoprene insulation with a full-length side zip, making it easier to put on and remove while retaining the comfort and grip associated with the Parcours 2 range.
Premium Choice
Parcours 2 Signature Brown is the premium option in the range, combining the Parcours anti-fatigue sole with a full-grain leather lining and traditional brown country styling.
WHY ARE AIGLE PARCOURS 2 WELLIES SO GOOD FOR WALKING?
Walking comfort is one of the main reasons to choose the Aigle Parcours 2. Its tri-density rubber sole is designed to help reduce fatigue over longer distances.
The sole combines progressive cushioning, a stabilising midsole and a gripping outer sole. Aigle also uses a 360° grip pattern designed for traction on slippery and soft ground, making the Parcours particularly suited to dog walking, countryside walking, farming and field sports.
WHICH AIGLE PARCOURS 2 SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Choose the Parcours 2 if you want a comfortable all-round walking and country boot without additional insulation.
Choose the Parcours 2 Vario if you want similar all-round performance but need greater adjustment around the calf.
Choose the Parcours 2 ISO if warmth is a priority. Its neoprene lining makes it better suited to colder weather and winter use.
Choose the Parcours 2 ISO Open if you want neoprene insulation together with the convenience of a full-length side zip.
Choose the Parcours 2 Signature Brown if you want the premium option, combining Parcours walking comfort with a full-grain leather lining and traditional brown country styling.
PARCOURS 2 VS PARCOURS 2 VARIO – WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Both are based around Aigle's walking-focused Parcours 2 platform and anti-fatigue sole. The important difference is adjustment around the calf.
The Parcours 2 Vario has an adjustable calf gusset, allowing you to change the opening around the leg. This can be particularly useful for larger calves or when wearing thicker trousers.
If you are comfortable with a conventional Wellington fit, the standard Parcours 2 is an excellent all-rounder. If calf adjustment matters, choose the Vario.
PARCOURS 2 VS PARCOURS 2 ISO – WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
The main difference is insulation. The standard Parcours 2 uses a lighter quick-drying lining and is a versatile choice for active use and milder conditions.
The Parcours 2 ISO has a neoprene lining designed to retain warmth in colder conditions. Aigle states that its insulation is suitable for temperatures down to -20°C.
For active walking through much of the year, the standard Parcours 2 is usually the better all-round choice. For winter use, cold-weather shooting or long periods standing outdoors, consider the ISO.
PARCOURS 2 ISO VS ISO OPEN – WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
Both models combine the Parcours 2 anti-fatigue sole with a warm neoprene lining. The major difference is the boot opening.
The Parcours 2 ISO uses an adjustable calf design, whereas the Parcours 2 ISO Open features a full-length side zip. This makes the ISO Open particularly easy to put on and remove.
Choose the ISO if you prefer a traditional pull-on Wellington with calf adjustment. Choose the ISO Open if easy entry and removal are more important.
WHAT IS THE AIGLE PARCOURS 2 SIGNATURE BROWN?
The Parcours 2 Signature Brown is a premium version of the Parcours 2. It retains the walking-focused tri-density anti-fatigue sole while adding a full-grain leather lining and premium detailing.
The leather lining gives the boot a more luxurious feel and makes the Signature particularly attractive for customers looking for a premium country Wellington for walking, shooting and regular field use.
Its brown finish also gives it a more traditional country appearance than the standard green Parcours models.
PARCOURS 2 SIGNATURE VS STANDARD PARCOURS 2
Both use the Parcours 2 anti-fatigue sole concept and are designed for prolonged outdoor use. The major difference is the interior and finish.
The standard Parcours 2 has a practical quick-drying polyester lining, making it an excellent everyday walking boot. The Parcours 2 Signature upgrades to a full-grain leather lining and premium detailing for a more luxurious feel.
Choose the standard Parcours 2 for maximum everyday practicality or the Signature if you want a more premium boot without giving up the walking comfort of the Parcours range.
WHICH AIGLE WELLIES ARE BEST FOR DOG WALKING?
The standard Parcours 2 is our first choice for regular dog walking. Its anti-fatigue sole is particularly useful if you cover longer distances and the lighter lining makes it a versatile option through much of the year.
Choose the Parcours 2 Vario if you need extra adjustment around the calf. During colder winter weather, the neoprene-lined Parcours 2 ISO provides additional insulation.
WHICH AIGLE WELLIES ARE BEST FOR SHOOTING?
All of the Parcours 2 models work well for shooting because they combine grip and support with comfort over long periods outdoors.
For milder conditions, the Parcours 2 or Vario are excellent options. For winter shooting, consider the neoprene-lined Parcours 2 ISO or ISO Open. For a more premium leather-lined option, choose the Parcours 2 Signature Brown.
ARE AIGLE PARCOURS 2 WELLIES SUITABLE FOR LARGER CALVES?
If you need additional adjustment around the calf, look towards the Parcours 2 Vario or other adjustable Parcours models rather than relying on the standard fixed-opening Parcours 2.
The adjustable designs allow the upper opening to be altered to suit your leg and the clothing you normally wear inside your boots.
WHAT IS THE AIGLE ANTI-FATIGUE SOLE?
The Parcours 2 uses a tri-density rubber sole designed to provide comfort over longer periods of walking. It combines a progressive cushioning insert, a stabilising midsole and a gripping outer sole.
The outsole is designed to provide traction on slippery and soft surfaces, while the cushioning and support underneath the foot help make the Parcours 2 particularly suitable for people who spend long periods walking or standing outdoors.
DO AIGLE PARCOURS 2 WELLIES HAVE VIBRAM SOLES?
No. The Parcours 2 uses Aigle's own tri-density rubber anti-fatigue sole rather than a Vibram outsole. It has been specifically designed around cushioning, stability and grip for prolonged outdoor use.
HOW SHOULD AIGLE PARCOURS 2 WELLIES FIT?
Your Aigle wellies should feel secure around the foot and ankle without being restrictive. Leave enough space for the socks you normally wear while avoiding excessive movement around the heel.
Fit differs slightly between Parcours models, so also consider whether you need a standard opening, an adjustable calf or a full-length zipped design.
HOW DO I CARE FOR AIGLE RUBBER WELLIES?
Rinse mud and dirt away with clear or mild soapy water after use and wipe the boots with a lint-free cloth. Leave them to dry naturally and store them upright away from direct heat and strong sunlight.
Aigle recommends periodically using Swipol on its natural rubber boots. We also stock Aigle boot care accessories to help clean, protect and store your wellies.
ARE AIGLE PARCOURS 2 WELLINGTON BOOTS MADE IN FRANCE?
Yes. Aigle produces the Parcours 2 range in France using predominantly natural rubber. The range is designed for demanding outdoor use, from regular walking and farming to shooting and professional field work.
