The SWATCOM Active360 is the brand's flagship electronic shooting headset, combining high-performance hearing protection with advanced hear-through technology to maintain awareness of voices, range commands and surrounding sounds.

Offering 28 dB SNR attenuation, the Active360 is designed to protect against damaging shooting noise while allowing quieter environmental sounds to remain audible. Adjustable hear-through and user-selectable audio settings allow the headset to be tailored to different shooting environments and personal preferences.

Built for demanding range and field use, the Active360 offers up to 250 hours of battery life from two AAA batteries and has been tested against water, drops and extreme temperatures. At approximately 320g, it combines robust construction with the comfort required for longer shooting sessions.

SWATCOM electronic ear defenders are designed to reduce exposure to damaging impulse noise while allowing the wearer to remain aware of voices and surrounding sounds.

Electronic hearing protection is particularly useful for clay shooting, range use and field sports where communication and awareness are important. SWATCOM models such as the Active360 and Active8 combine hearing protection with electronic hear-through technology, allowing quieter sounds to remain audible without sacrificing protection from damaging shooting noise.

For shooters who prefer straightforward hearing protection without batteries or electronics, SWATCOM passive ear defenders provide dependable attenuation in a simple and durable design. Models such as the SC12 and Slim Passive Ear Defenders are well suited to clay shooting, range use and general shooting applications.

In-ear hearing protection provides a compact alternative to conventional over-ear defenders and can be particularly useful for shooters who want minimal interference around the stock of the gun.

The SWATCOM SC21 Pro-Impulse provides compact hearing protection without batteries or electronic controls, making it easy to carry and convenient for shooting, range use and other high-noise environments.

Passive ear defenders provide continuous mechanical sound attenuation without batteries or electronic controls. They are simple, reliable and well suited to shooters who primarily need straightforward hearing protection.

Electronic ear defenders add microphones and audio processing that allow quieter environmental sounds and speech to remain audible while controlling potentially harmful impulse noise. This can make communication and situational awareness considerably easier during a shoot or range session.

For occasional shooting or as a dependable spare set, passive protection can be an excellent choice. Shooters spending longer periods on the range or in the field may prefer electronic defenders for the additional awareness and communication they provide.

The Active360 and Active8 are both premium electronic hearing protectors, but they suit slightly different requirements.

The Active360 is SWATCOM's newer flagship headset and provides 28 dB SNR attenuation together with advanced adjustable hear-through, voice-prompted controls and additional user adjustment. It is an excellent choice for shooters looking for SWATCOM's latest electronic hearing protection technology.

The Active8 remains a proven premium option with excellent electronic hearing protection and particularly long battery life. For shooters comparing the two, the Active360 places greater emphasis on its newer audio and adjustment technology, while the Active8 remains a strong choice for established performance and extended use.

SWATCOM ballistic shooting eyewear provides protection for the eyes while offering lens options suited to different shooting and lighting conditions.

Interchangeable coloured lenses allow shooters to select an appropriate lens for changing light and backgrounds, helping improve visibility and contrast while maintaining protective coverage. This makes multi-lens shooting glasses particularly useful for clay and competition shooting where conditions can change throughout the day.

Alongside hearing and eye protection, SWATCOM offers premium accessories designed for shooters who want to protect and organise their equipment.

The SWATCOM luxury leather collection includes a dedicated headset bag for protecting valuable electronic ear defenders and a larger leather range bag for carrying shooting equipment to the range or ground. Both provide a smarter alternative to conventional synthetic shooting bags while retaining the practicality required for regular use.

Founded in the UK in 2000, SWATCOM specialises in hearing protection, communications equipment and specialist protective products.
