DeathGrip Clamping System
The Bantam Head uses BOG's centred DeathGrip clamping system to securely hold a rifle or crossbow in position.
Rather than simply resting the firearm in an open yoke, the DeathGrip closes around it to create a much more secure connection. This allows the firearm to remain supported in a ready position without the shooter having to continuously balance it on the tripod.
Arca-Swiss Tripod Compatibility
The DeathGrip Bantam Head features an Arca-Swiss compatible interface at its base, allowing the complete clamping head to be fitted to a compatible Arca-Swiss tripod.
It is important to distinguish this from an Arca rifle mount: the rifle itself is held by the DeathGrip clamp. The Arca-Swiss connection is used to attach the DeathGrip head to the tripod.
