The Hawke Endurance 700 Laser Range Finder - 6x21 OLED is a compact, high-performance laser range finder designed for shooters and hunters who want fast and accurate distance measurement in an easy-to-carry unit. Combining 6x magnification with a 21mm objective lens and a maximum measuring distance of 700 metres, it provides the core features of Hawke's Endurance range at the shortest ranging distance in the series.
A major advantage of the Endurance 700 is its bright red illuminated OLED display, which provides clear distance readings against changing backgrounds and in different light conditions. It also offers Standard, Horizontal Distance, Angle, Rain and Hunt modes, giving you considerably more information than simple line-of-sight distance alone and making it particularly useful when ranging across sloping or uneven ground.

OLED DISPLAY
The Endurance 700 uses a bright red illuminated OLED display rather than the conventional LCD display found in Hawke's Vantage range finders.
The illuminated display provides excellent visibility against both light and dark backgrounds. Six brightness levels allow the display intensity to be adjusted to suit the surrounding light conditions.
RANGING MODES EXPLAINED
Standard: Measures the direct line-of-sight distance between the range finder and target. Continuous ranging can also be used to update the measurement while scanning.
Horizontal Distance: Calculates the horizontal component of the measured distance, particularly useful when ranging targets positioned uphill or downhill.
Angle: Displays the angle between the range finder and target, allowing you to see the degree of incline or decline.
Rain: Helps reduce interference caused by rainfall when ranging targets in poor weather conditions.
Hunt: Helps ignore foreground interference such as grass, brush and vegetation when measuring a target positioned beyond it.
HORIZONTAL DISTANCE & ANGLE MEASUREMENT
The Endurance 700 incorporates an inclinometer that allows it to measure both the direct line-of-sight distance and the angle between the user and target.
Horizontal Distance mode uses this information to calculate the horizontal component of the measurement. This is particularly useful when ranging uphill or downhill, where the horizontal distance can differ from the direct line-of-sight measurement.
COMPARE HAWKE ENDURANCE RANGE FINDERS
| Model | Optics | Max Range | Display |
|---|---|---|---|
| Endurance 700 | 6x21 | 700m | OLED |
| Endurance 1000 | 6x21 | 1000m | OLED |
| Endurance 1500 | 6x21 | 1500m | OLED |
All three Endurance models use the same compact 6x21 optical format, illuminated OLED display and advanced ranging modes. The key difference is maximum ranging distance: 700m, 1000m or 1500m.
WHICH ENDURANCE MODEL SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Endurance 700: A strong choice for general shooting and hunting where extremely long-distance ranging is unnecessary. You still get the OLED display and advanced Endurance ranging modes.
Endurance 1000: Steps maximum ranging capability up to 1000 metres while retaining the same compact 6x21 format.
Endurance 1500: The longest-ranging model in the family, designed for users who want maximum ranging capability of up to 1500 metres.
ENDURANCE VS VANTAGE
Hawke Vantage range finders use an LCD display, while the Endurance range uses a red illuminated OLED display designed to remain highly visible against changing backgrounds and in different light conditions.
The Endurance 700 is a good entry point into the Endurance family if you want the OLED display and advanced ranging functions but do not require the 1000m or 1500m maximum distance of the higher models.
IS THE ENDURANCE 700 RIGHT FOR ME?
The Endurance 700 is particularly well suited to shooters and hunters who want Hawke's illuminated OLED display and advanced ranging functions without paying extra for maximum distances they are unlikely to use.
If you regularly need to range beyond 700 metres, consider the Endurance 1000 or Endurance 1500. If your priority is a lower purchase price and you do not need the illuminated OLED display, Hawke's Vantage range is also worth considering.
BATTERY & POWER
The Hawke Endurance 700 is powered by a single CR2 3V lithium battery. An automatic shut-off function helps conserve battery power when the range finder is left inactive.
