SKU: HAWKE-41201

The Hawke Vantage 600 Laser Range Finder - 6x21 is a compact and practical handheld range finder designed for shooters and hunters who want a useful step up in maximum distance without moving into Hawke's higher-priced Endurance range. With 6x magnification, a 21mm objective lens and a maximum measuring distance of 600 metres, it offers a strong balance of portability, simplicity and useful ranging capability.

The Vantage 600 combines fully multi-coated optics with an easy-to-read LCD display and multiple ranging modes including Standard, Horizontal Distance, Angle, Rain and Hunt. Its integrated inclinometer makes it especially useful on sloping ground, allowing you to measure both direct line-of-sight distance and the horizontal component of the shot.

RANGING MODES EXPLAINED

Standard: Measures the direct line-of-sight distance between the range finder and target. Continuous ranging can also be used to update the measurement while scanning.

Horizontal Distance: Calculates the horizontal component of the measured distance, particularly useful when ranging targets positioned uphill or downhill.

Angle: Displays the angle between the range finder and target, helping you understand the degree of incline or decline.

Rain: Helps reduce interference caused by rainfall when measuring targets in poor weather conditions.

Hunt: Helps ignore foreground interference from grass, branches and vegetation when ranging a target positioned beyond it.

HORIZONTAL DISTANCE & ANGLE MEASUREMENT

The Vantage 600 includes an inclinometer that measures the angle between the shooter and target as well as the direct line-of-sight distance.

Horizontal Distance mode uses this information to calculate the horizontal component of the measurement. This is useful when shooting uphill or downhill, where the effective horizontal distance can differ from the straight-line measurement.

COMPARE HAWKE VANTAGE RANGE FINDERS
Model Optics Max Range Display
Vantage 400 6x21 400m LCD
Vantage 600 6x21 600m LCD
Vantage 900 6x21 900m LCD

All three Vantage models use the same compact 6x21 optical format and LCD display. The main difference is maximum ranging distance: 400m, 600m or 900m.

WHICH VANTAGE MODEL SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Vantage 400: Best suited to shorter-range shooting, air rifle use and pest control where 400 metres is more than sufficient.

Vantage 600: The middle option in the range, giving you extra distance capability while retaining the same compact 6x21 format.

Vantage 900: The longest-ranging Vantage model, offering up to 900 metres for users who want greater flexibility at longer distances.

VANTAGE VS ENDURANCE

The Vantage range uses an LCD display, while Hawke's Endurance range uses a red illuminated OLED display designed to remain highly visible against changing backgrounds and in varying light conditions.

If you want straightforward ranging with Horizontal Distance and Angle measurement at a lower price, the Vantage range is a strong choice. If an illuminated OLED display or greater maximum ranging distance is important, consider the Hawke Endurance range.

IS THE VANTAGE 600 RIGHT FOR ME?

The Vantage 600 is a useful middle-ground choice for shooters who want more headroom than the Vantage 400 but do not need the full 900-metre capability of the Vantage 900.

Its combination of 6x21 optics, compact dimensions, Horizontal Distance calculation and angle measurement makes it suitable for air rifle shooting, rimfire, centrefire and general hunting applications.

BATTERY & POWER

The Hawke Vantage 600 is powered by a single CR2 3V lithium battery. An automatic shut-off function helps conserve battery power when the range finder is left inactive.
