At its core is a 640×512, 12μm thermal sensor with ≤15mK sensitivity, producing detailed, high-contrast imagery and allowing detection of even subtle temperature differences in challenging environments such as fog, rain, or dense cover. Paired with a 50mm F0.9 objective lens, the H50R captures increased thermal energy, delivering brighter images and extended detection performance—reaching out to approximately 2200–2400 metres under optimal conditions.
A key feature is the integrated laser rangefinder (LRF), capable of measuring distances up to around 1200 metres, enabling accurate range assessment and improved situational awareness. This makes the H50R particularly effective for precision-based observation and long-range spotting.
The VISTA H50R is built around NocPix’s Vision+ system, featuring a 2560×2560 circular AMOLED display that provides a more natural, immersive viewing experience compared to conventional rectangular screens. Combined with a 60Hz refresh rate and electronic image stabilisation, it ensures smooth, stable, and comfortable viewing—especially when tracking moving targets.
