Comfort over longer distances is one of the defining features of the Parcours range. The tri-density sole incorporates progressive cushioning together with a stabilising midsole and durable outer sole, helping absorb impact and reduce fatigue when walking or standing for extended periods.

The Vario version incorporates a waterproof adjustable gusset at the top of the boot. This allows the opening to be altered around the calf, providing a more adaptable fit for different calf sizes and giving additional room when wearing thicker trousers or other clothing layers.

Aigle's hard-wearing rubber outsole uses a deep lug pattern designed to provide dependable grip on slippery surfaces and soft ground. The 360° gripping sole is inspired by the hoof of a chamois mountain goat, helping provide stability across muddy fields, wet grass and uneven countryside terrain.

The Parcours 2 Vario uses a quick-drying polyester lining that can be easily cleaned after use. Unlike the insulated Parcours 2 ISO, the Vario does not use a thick Neoprene® lining, making it a more versatile option for general countryside use and milder conditions.

Both models share the Parcours anti-fatigue concept and are designed for comfortable walking over longer distances. The principal difference is the adjustable calf.

Parcours 2 Vario: features a waterproof adjustable gusset, allowing the upper of the boot to be altered around the calf. This provides greater flexibility for different calf sizes and clothing layers.

Parcours 2: uses a traditional fixed upper. It retains the core Parcours comfort and anti-fatigue technology but does not provide the same calf adjustment as the Vario.

The Vario and ISO both provide an adjustable calf, but they are intended for different temperatures.

Parcours 2 Vario: uses a quick-drying polyester lining and is well suited to general countryside use when additional winter insulation is not required.

Parcours 2 ISO: adds a Neoprene® insulating lining for considerably greater warmth. The ISO is the better option for colder winter conditions and prolonged periods outdoors in low temperatures.

The Parcours 2 Vario is designed to provide a secure and supportive fit through the foot and ankle, while the adjustable waterproof gusset gives additional flexibility around the calf. This makes the Vario particularly useful where a conventional fixed-calf wellington feels restrictive.

After use, wash the boots with clear water or mild pH-neutral soapy water and wipe them with a lint-free cloth. Allow them to dry naturally and store upright in a dark place away from direct heat. Aigle recommends periodically applying a suitable rubber-care product such as Swipol to help maintain the condition and appearance of the natural rubber.

The Aigle Parcours 2 Vario is covered by Aigle's 2-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. The guarantee applies for two years from the date of delivery and is subject to Aigle's warranty terms and conditions. Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse and damage caused by improper care are not considered manufacturing defects.
