The Caldwell VelociRadar Chronograph is an advanced radar-based ballistic measurement system designed for shooters, reloaders and long-range enthusiasts who demand precise velocity and trajectory data. Using cutting-edge CHIRP radar technology, the VelociRadar tracks projectiles downrange rather than simply measuring muzzle velocity, delivering a complete picture of real-world ballistic performance.

Unlike traditional chronographs that require equipment positioned downrange, the VelociRadar sits safely beside the shooter on the firing line, eliminating the risk of accidental impacts and making setup fast, safe and convenient. By continuously tracking bullet speed throughout flight, the system can accurately calculate true muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient and downrange energy for highly detailed ballistic analysis.

Designed for use with rifles, pistols, shotguns and archery equipment, the VelociRadar supports projectile speeds from 250–4500 FPS, making it suitable for a wide range of shooting applications. The integrated ballistic calculator generates custom DOPE charts from a single shot, helping shooters make more accurate long-range adjustments with confidence.

Featuring built-in acoustic triggering alongside an included recoil trigger, the system delivers reliable shot detection across various shooting environments, including suppressed firearms and indoor ranges.
