Hawke Frontier ED X GEN 2 Binoculars (8x34-10x42)

The Hawke Frontier ED X GEN 2 Binoculars represent the next generation of Hawke’s premium Frontier ED X range, combining advanced optical performance with a durable, lightweight magnesium alloy chassis. Available in 8x34, 10x34, 8x42 and 10x42 configurations, the range offers a choice of compact portability or enhanced low-light performance.

At the heart of the GEN 2 optical system is Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass, designed to minimise colour fringing and deliver excellent clarity and colour accuracy. Premium Lanthanum ocular glass further improves image quality, while dielectric-coated, phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated optics provide high light transmission and a bright, detailed image. The 42mm models also incorporate additional field-flattening lenses to maintain sharpness towards the edges of the field of view.

Wide-angle optics provide an expansive field of view, making the Frontier ED X GEN 2 particularly well suited to wildlife observation, birdwatching, stalking and general outdoor use. The water-repellent objective lens coatings help shed moisture and dirt, while the nitrogen-purged construction makes the binoculars waterproof and fog proof for dependable performance in changing weather conditions.

The magnesium alloy chassis provides strength without unnecessary bulk, complemented by replaceable twist-up eyecups and an integrated 1/4" tripod mounting thread. All models are also covered by Hawke’s No-Fault Lifetime Warranty.
