The LUMI H35R is the model to choose if you want the best combination of thermal resolution and functionality within the LUMI family. Its 640×512 sensor gives substantially greater detail than the 384×288 L-series models, while the 35mm lens provides up to 1,800m detection capability without sacrificing the useful field of view needed for scanning.

The key advantage over the standard H35 is the integrated laser rangefinder. The two models share the same core 640×512 sensor, 35mm F0.9 lens and 2.5× base magnification, but the H35R can measure the distance to a target up to 800 metres away.

If you do not require rangefinding, the H35 provides the same core thermal imaging performance at a lower price. If an integrated LRF is important but you do not need a 640×512 sensor, the L35R provides a more affordable alternative.
