Schöffel Grimsthorpe Men's Waterproof Clay Shooting Jacket - Forest
Developed with input from experienced UK clay shooters, the Schöffel Grimsthorpe Clay Jacket is a technical shooting jacket designed around freedom of movement, weather protection and practical performance on the shooting ground. Lightweight and non-insulated, it provides protection from wet and windy conditions without the bulk of a traditional heavy shooting coat.
The Venturi® 2-layer laminate construction combines a 10,000 mm waterproof rating with 30,000 MVTR breathability, making the Grimsthorpe particularly well suited to active shooting. Double bellows cartridge pockets, a two-way YKK zip, adjustable waist and carefully positioned suede detailing complete a jacket equally suited to clay shooting, simulated game days and time in the pigeon hide.

WATERPROOF & BREATHABLE +
The Venturi® 2-layer laminate provides a 10,000 mm water column alongside a 30,000 MVTR breathability rating. This gives the Grimsthorpe dependable protection from rain while allowing moisture generated during active shooting to escape.
DESIGNED FOR CLAY SHOOTING +
Rather than being a general-purpose country jacket, the Grimsthorpe was developed with feedback from experienced clay shooters. Its lightweight construction and unrestricted feel are designed for comfortable gun mounting and repeated movement throughout a day's shooting.
CARTRIDGE POCKETS & SHOOTING FEATURES +
Two large double bellows cartridge pockets provide quick access to cartridges and incorporate drainage holes to allow moisture to escape. An internal security pocket keeps smaller valuables separate, while two rear D-rings add further shooting-specific functionality.
FIT & LAYERING +
The Grimsthorpe uses Schöffel's classic fit and includes an adjustable drawcord at the waist. Because the jacket is non-insulated, warmth can be adjusted with your choice of layers underneath, making it more versatile across changing shooting conditions.

Both Grimsthorpe models are purpose-built for shooting, but they are designed for different conditions.
Grimsthorpe Clay Jacket: full sleeve coverage with a waterproof Venturi® membrane. Better suited to wet, windy or changeable days when greater weather protection is required.
Grimsthorpe Clay Vest: sleeveless, water-repellent and extremely easy to layer. It provides maximum freedom around the arms and shoulders and also incorporates recoil-pad pockets on both shoulders.
