The BOLT range is available in three main configurations. The biggest differences are thermal sensor resolution, lens size, detection range and magnification.

P25R: Best for customers prioritising price and predominantly shorter-distance use.

L35R: The middle-ground BOLT, with a worthwhile increase in sensor resolution and detection range over the P25R.

All three include an integrated laser rangefinder, ballistic calculation and conventional 30mm scope-tube mounting.

The BOLT L35R features an integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances up to approximately 1,200 metres.

This allows you to detect a heat source, assess its distance and use the scope's ballistic calculation functionality without carrying a separate rangefinder.

This is particularly useful when shooting across changing distances, where accurate range estimation becomes increasingly important.

The manufacturer-stated detection range of approximately 1,800 metres refers to the distance at which the thermal detector may identify that a sufficiently large heat source is present under suitable conditions.

Detection is not the same as positive identification. At longer distances, the scope may reveal a heat source without providing enough detail to determine exactly what it is.

Real-world identification distance depends on target size, weather, vegetation, thermal contrast and the amount of digital magnification being used.

The BOLT L35R uses two separate power sources.

One rechargeable battery is permanently built into the scope. This internal battery is not removed during normal use.

The second power source is a removable 18650 rechargeable battery. This battery can be taken out, recharged and replaced with another compatible 18650 battery.

This dual-battery design means you can carry spare 18650 batteries and swap them during longer sessions, while the built-in battery provides an additional internal power source.
