The Schöffel Grimsthorpe Clay Jacket in True Navy is a lightweight waterproof shooting jacket developed specifically for clay shooting, simulated game and days on the shooting ground. Combining a smart, understated appearance with technical weather protection, it is designed to keep you comfortable without restricting your gun mount or movement.
Schöffel's Venturi® 2-layer laminate provides a 10,000 mm waterproof rating together with excellent 30,000 MVTR breathability. The non-insulated construction makes the Grimsthorpe easy to layer throughout the shooting season, while large double bellows cartridge pockets, an adjustable waist and two-way YKK zip provide the functionality required for regular shooting.

WATERPROOF & BREATHABLE +
The Venturi® 2-layer laminate provides a 10,000 mm water column and 30,000 MVTR breathability. This combination provides dependable protection from rain while allowing heat and moisture generated during active shooting to escape.
DEVELOPED FOR CLAY SHOOTING +
The Grimsthorpe has been developed with input from experienced clay shooters. Its lightweight construction allows freedom through the arms and upper body, helping maintain a comfortable and consistent gun mount throughout a shooting session.
CARTRIDGE POCKETS & STORAGE +
Two large double bellows cartridge pockets provide plenty of accessible storage for cartridges. Drainage holes allow water to escape from the pockets in wet conditions, while an internal security pocket provides separate storage for smaller valuables.
FIT & LAYERING +
The classic fit provides room for natural movement while an adjustable drawcord at the waist allows the fit to be refined. As the jacket is deliberately non-insulated, you can add or remove a fleece, jumper or other mid-layer depending on the temperature.

Grimsthorpe Clay Jacket: the better choice when waterproof protection is required. The Venturi® membrane, full sleeves and lightweight construction provide substantially greater protection in wet and windy conditions.
Grimsthorpe Clay Vest: a sleeveless, water-repellent alternative offering maximum freedom around the arms and shoulders. It is particularly useful in milder weather or as part of a layered shooting outfit and includes recoil-pad pockets on both shoulders.
