The RM does not provide a better thermal sensor than the standard H50R. Its advantage is the way the scope is mounted, aligned and positioned on the rifle.

The ACE Rail Mount provides a larger range of forward-and-back positioning than would normally be available from fixed ring positions on a conventional scope tube.

This makes it easier to position the complete optic correctly for the shooter's preferred eye relief and rifle setup.

The rail-based interface also controls horizontal orientation inherently, reducing the need to manually rotate and level a round scope body within separate rings.

The ACE H50R RM provides 3× base magnification and an overall magnification range of 3–24×.

The 3× native view gives useful image scale for observation across open ground while retaining a practical field of view for locating and following heat sources.
