Nocpix ROVEX Thermal Imaging Monocular

The ROVEX is particularly well suited to birdwatching, wildlife observation and wide-area scanning. Its 15mm lens and wide field of view prioritise finding heat signatures quickly rather than providing high magnification at very long distances.

The large 5-inch screen is the major difference compared with a conventional thermal monocular. You don't need to hold an eyepiece against your eye, making it comfortable for prolonged scanning and much easier to share a sighting with another person.

If your priority is significantly longer-range observation, greater magnification or maximum thermal image detail, a NocPix LUMI or VISTA monocular may be more suitable. If you want an accessible thermal device primarily for finding wildlife quickly, the ROVEX offers a very different and useful viewing experience.

Rather than using a conventional thermal eyepiece, the ROVEX displays its thermal image on a 5-inch 1280 × 720 LCD touchscreen.

This open-view arrangement allows you to scan naturally while remaining aware of your surroundings. It is also particularly useful for glasses wearers and when several people want to view or confirm the same thermal sighting.

The touchscreen supports intuitive 1–4× pinch-to-zoom control, providing a familiar way to enlarge an area of interest without navigating through multiple menus.

The ROVEX combines its thermal sensor with intelligent image processing designed to make wildlife easier to locate against complicated natural backgrounds.

The NocPix ROVEX is powered by a replaceable 21700 Li-ion battery, allowing the battery to be changed in the field rather than relying solely on a permanently built-in power source.

NocPix states a maximum operating time of approximately 4 hours at 22°C. Actual runtime can vary with ambient temperature and use of functions such as Wi-Fi, recording, screen brightness and image processing.

The device also features a USB Type-C connection for convenient charging and data connectivity.

NocPix products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, subject to NocPix warranty terms and conditions.

The main device is covered for 3 years, with the battery covered for 2 years and the thermal detector covered for 10 years. Warranty periods begin from the invoice purchase date when purchased through an authorised dealer.
