At its core is a 384×288, 12μm thermal sensor with ≤18mK sensitivity, delivering sharp, high-contrast imagery and reliable heat detection even in challenging conditions such as fog, rain, and dense vegetation. Paired with a 19mm F0.9 objective lens, the L19 provides a wide field of view, making it particularly effective for scanning and locating targets at short to medium distances.

The device offers 2× base magnification with digital zoom up to 8×, allowing users to quickly scan large areas and then zoom in for improved identification. A 50Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, real-time viewing, while the 1024×768 AMOLED display delivers clear and comfortable visuals during extended use.

Designed with portability in mind, the LUMI L19 is smaller than many smartphones and weighs around 335g, making it easy to carry for long periods without fatigue. It is powered by a replaceable 18650 battery system, offering convenient swapping in the field and extended operating time.

Additional features such as Reality+ image processing, electronic image stabilisation, multiple colour palettes, and onboard photo/video recording with 32GB storage enhance usability and viewing clarity, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of environments. Wi-Fi connectivity also allows easy sharing and remote control via a mobile device.
