The Hawke Endurance 1500 Laser Range Finder - 6x21 OLED is the longest-ranging model in Hawke's Endurance handheld range finder family, designed for shooters and hunters who want maximum ranging capability in a compact unit. Combining 6x magnification with a 21mm objective lens and a maximum measuring distance of 1500 metres, it provides considerably more ranging capability than the Endurance 700 and 1000 models.
The Endurance 1500 features Hawke's bright red illuminated OLED display for clear distance readings against changing backgrounds and light conditions. Advanced ranging functions include Standard, Horizontal Distance, Angle, Rain and Hunt modes, while the integrated inclinometer makes the Endurance 1500 particularly useful when measuring targets across steep or uneven terrain.

OLED DISPLAY
The Endurance 1500 uses a bright red illuminated OLED display rather than the conventional LCD display used by Hawke's Vantage range finders.
The illuminated display provides excellent visibility against both light and dark backgrounds, with six brightness levels allowing the display intensity to be adjusted for the surrounding conditions.
RANGING MODES EXPLAINED
Standard: Measures the direct line-of-sight distance between the range finder and target. Continuous ranging can also be used to update the measurement while scanning.
Horizontal Distance: Calculates the horizontal component of the measured distance, particularly useful when ranging targets positioned uphill or downhill.
Angle: Displays the angle between the range finder and target, allowing you to see the degree of incline or decline.
Rain: Helps reduce interference caused by rainfall when ranging targets in poor weather conditions.
Hunt: Helps ignore foreground interference such as grass, brush and vegetation when measuring a target positioned beyond it.
HORIZONTAL DISTANCE & ANGLE MEASUREMENT
The Endurance 1500 incorporates an inclinometer that allows the unit to measure both the direct line-of-sight distance and the angle between the user and target.
Horizontal Distance mode uses this information to calculate the horizontal component of the measurement. This is especially useful when ranging across steep ground, where the horizontal distance can differ significantly from the direct line-of-sight measurement.
COMPARE HAWKE ENDURANCE RANGE FINDERS
| Model | Optics | Max Range | Display |
|---|---|---|---|
| Endurance 700 | 6x21 | 700m | OLED |
| Endurance 1000 | 6x21 | 1000m | OLED |
| Endurance 1500 | 6x21 | 1500m | OLED |
All three Endurance models use the same compact 6x21 optical format, illuminated OLED display and advanced ranging modes. The key difference is maximum ranging distance: 700m, 1000m or 1500m.
WHICH ENDURANCE MODEL SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Endurance 700: A strong choice for general shooting and hunting where extremely long-distance ranging is unnecessary.
Endurance 1000: The middle model, extending maximum ranging capability to 1000 metres while retaining the same compact 6x21 format.
Endurance 1500: The longest-ranging model in the Endurance family. Choose the 1500 when maximum ranging capability is the priority or you regularly need to measure targets beyond 1000 metres.
ENDURANCE VS VANTAGE
Hawke Vantage range finders use an LCD display, while the Endurance models use a red illuminated OLED display designed to remain highly visible against changing backgrounds and in different light conditions.
The Endurance range is available in 700m, 1000m and 1500m versions. The Vantage range is a more affordable alternative for shooters who do not require the illuminated OLED display or the Endurance 1500's extended maximum ranging capability.
IS THE ENDURANCE 1500 RIGHT FOR ME?
The Endurance 1500 is the model to choose if you want the greatest ranging capability available in Hawke's Endurance handheld range finder family.
If your typical ranging distances are comfortably below 1000 metres, the Endurance 700 or 1000 may provide everything you need for less. If maximum distance and the flexibility to range much further away are important, the Endurance 1500 is the appropriate step up.
BATTERY & POWER
The Hawke Endurance 1500 is powered by a single CR2 3V lithium battery. An automatic shut-off function helps conserve battery power when the range finder is left inactive.
