NocPix VISTA H35R Thermal Imaging Monocular with LRF combines premium 640×512 thermal imaging with an integrated laser rangefinder for accurate distance measurement in the field. Its fast 35mm F0.9 objective lens, wide field of view and 3× base magnification make it particularly well suited to scanning fields, woodland edges and mixed terrain.

The H35R shares the same core thermal imaging performance as the VISTA H35 but adds an integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances up to 1,200 metres. Combined with the high-resolution 2560×2560 AMOLED display, ≤15mK thermal sensitivity and smooth 60Hz refresh rate, it is an excellent choice for users who want wide-area scanning without giving up accurate range information.

IS THE NOCPIX VISTA H35R RIGHT FOR ME?

The VISTA H35R is particularly well suited to users who want high-resolution thermal imaging, a wide scanning view and built-in distance measurement in one handheld unit.

Its 35mm lens gives a relatively low 3× base magnification and a generous 22 × 18m field of view at 100m. This makes locating and following heat sources easier when scanning large fields, woodland and mixed terrain.

The integrated 1,200m laser rangefinder is the key advantage over the standard H35, providing an immediate distance measurement without requiring a separate rangefinder.

If you mainly observe at greater distances and prefer more base magnification, consider the VISTA H50R. If you want the highest thermal resolution available in the VISTA family, look at the flagship VISTA S50R.

COMPARE NOCPIX VISTA MODELS
Model Sensor Lens Base Mag. FOV @ 100m LRF
H35 640×512 35mm F0.9 22 × 18m No
H35R 640×512 35mm F0.9 22 × 18m Yes – 1,200m
H50 640×512 50mm F0.9 15 × 12m No
H50R 640×512 50mm F0.9 15 × 12m Yes – 1,200m
S50R 1280×1024 50mm F0.9 31 × 25m Yes

H35: Wide-view 640×512 model without an integrated rangefinder.

H35R: Combines the H35's wide-view 35mm thermal platform with integrated 1,200m laser rangefinding.

H50: 640×512 sensor with a longer 50mm lens and 4× base magnification for more distance-focused observation.

H50R: The rangefinding version of the H50, combining the 50mm thermal platform with a 1,200m LRF.

S50R: Flagship model with a significantly higher-resolution 1280×1024 thermal sensor and 50mm F0.9 lens.

VISTA H35R vs H35 – IS THE LRF WORTH IT?

The H35 and H35R use the same core 640×512 thermal sensor and 35mm F0.9 objective lens, so their fundamental thermal viewing characteristics are very similar.

The important difference is the H35R's integrated laser rangefinder with measurement capability up to 1,200 metres.

If you only need to detect, identify and observe heat sources, the standard H35 gives you the core thermal performance without paying for a feature you may not use.

If knowing the actual distance to what you are observing matters, the H35R is the better choice.

VISTA H35R vs H50R – WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Both models combine a 640×512, 12μm thermal sensor with an integrated laser rangefinder. The key difference is the objective lens.

VISTA H35R: 35mm F0.9 lens, 3× base magnification and a wide 22 × 18m field of view at 100m. This is the stronger option for scanning larger areas and general-purpose observation.

VISTA H50R: 50mm F0.9 lens, 4× base magnification and a narrower 15 × 12m field of view at 100m. This gives greater image scale at distance and makes the H50R better suited to longer-range observation.

Choose the H35R for field of view and scanning. Choose the H50R for greater reach and distance-focused observation.

2560×2560 AMOLED DISPLAY

The VISTA family uses a distinctive high-resolution 2560×2560 circular AMOLED display, designed to provide a large and immersive viewing experience.

Combined with the H35R's 640×512 detector and 60Hz refresh rate, the display provides a detailed, smooth image that is particularly useful during extended periods of scanning and observation.
