Mount

The Hawke Fast Mount 4-16x50 AO IR Mil Dot Scope is a higher-magnification rifle scope designed for shooters who want more reach than the 3-9x and 3-12x Fast Mount models. With 4-16x magnification, a large 50mm objective lens, Adjustable Objective parallax correction and an illuminated Mil Dot reticle, it is well suited to target shooting and situations where extra magnification is useful.

The Adjustable Objective (AO) allows parallax correction from 15 yards / 14 metres through to infinity, while the Mil Dot IR reticle provides 5 illumination levels in both red and green. The second focal plane optical system, 1 inch tube and capped resettable turrets keep the scope straightforward to set up and use despite the extra magnification.

IS THE 4-16X50 AO IR RIGHT FOR ME?

The Hawke Fast Mount 4-16x50 AO IR is a good choice if you want noticeably more magnification than a traditional 3-9x scope while still retaining a practical 4x low-end setting. It is particularly well suited to target shooting and longer-range use where additional magnification can help with a more detailed sight picture.

Compared with the Fast Mount 3-12x50 AO IR, this model increases maximum magnification from 12x to 16x. If you need even more magnification, the 6-24x50 AO IR is the highest-powered model in the Fast Mount range. If you prefer a wider low-end magnification range, the 3-12x50 AO IR may be the better all-round option.
